Klemmer suffered a fractured wrist in Origin I and there were fears he may have re-broken it in Newcastle's season-ending 54-10 hammering from Penrith.
But scans have cleared the towering forward of serious damage and he is certain to be on the short list of Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga.
Klemmer first wore the green and gold in 2014 and has since racked up 17 Tests.
He would be expected to start up front with Canberra's Josh Papalii in the clash with New Zealand at WIN Stadium on October 25.
There is also a Test scheduled against Tonga for November 25 in Auckland, but it remains to be seen if that proceeds, in light of the planned boycott by Tongan players.
Klemmer, Daniel Saifiti and Kalyn Ponga have been advised they are in Meninga's "extended squad" for end-of-season rep games.
As well as the Tests, the Prime Minister's XIII will clash with Fiji in Suva on October 12, and the inaugural World Cup Nines will be contested on October 18-19.
