Allan, who netted 33 goals in 24 appearances during the Herald Women's Premier League, was one of three new players announced by the Jets on Friday.
She will be joined at the Jets in 2019-2020 by W-League pair and Australian under-20 representatives Nicki Flannery and Annabel Martin.
Attacking option Flannery has played 36 matches for Canberra United while defender Martin has notched up 39 caps for Melbourne Victory.
"There's W-League experience in Nicki and Annabel, and Lauren has proved locally just how lethal she can be in front of goal," W-League coach Craig Deans told Jets media.
Pre-season training starts on Monday.
Competition kicks off next month.
