The Jets, who have no marquee signings this season, stunned a star-studded Melbourne City to draw 1-1 in round one but were less than impressive in a 1-0 loss to Wanderers at Bankwest Stadium last Friday.
"We're pretty disappointed with the game," Andrews said. "We obviously didn't play as well as we can, so that was disappointing.
"We know that we need to keep the ball better and we're just looking to the Canberra game now and working on that this week.
"I think we'll come out firing. We know we didn't do as well as we could have last game, so we're all ready to give it our best this weekend."

Canberra opened their season with a 2-0 over Perth before sustaining a heart-breaking 2-1 loss on Sunday when City sealed the win with a penalty kick in injury time.
The Jets can move one point ahead of United with a win at home but a loss would leave them five points behind.
"Canberra are a good team, so it's going to be tough but we're ready to bring it to them," Andrews said.
"I haven't seen much of them, we're only two rounds in, but they're a good team all around the park. They've got a couple of internationals and obviously Heather Garriock is a pretty good coach and she knows how to win, so she would instil that in her players and they'll be tough to beat.
"Getting one point in the first round and then losing, we really need to get some points out of this game. It's only the third round but there's only 12 games in the season so you have to try to get points in every game you play."
United States import Simone Charley was quick to have impact in the W-League, scoring a brace on debut for Canberra in round one. Her compatriot Katie Stengel will also pose a threat against her former side.
Stengel played the past two seasons for the Jets and was integral to Newcastle making the finals in 2017-18 as the side's leading scorer with 10 goals.
"She's a good player," Andrews said. "She's good with her feet, very strong on the ball and she's got a good shot, so that's going to be hard to contain. But hopefully because we know how she plays we can take care of her a little bit."
Andrews was in devastating form for champions New Lambton in Herald Women's Premier League this year, scoring 48 goals in 21 appearances. The imposing striker is yet to get on the score sheet for the Jets this season but hopes to lead her home-town side to victory on Saturday.
"I've gone OK in the last two games but I just want to be consistent every week and I want to be scoring goals," Andrews said.
"So that's the aim - to be consistent and to score goals and hopefully I can do that for the team this weekend."
The W-League match on Saturday kicks off at 4.30pm. Newcastle then play Western Sydney in A-League at 7.30pm.
