A woman will face court later this month after she was allegedly caught driving with a blood-alcohol level more than four times the legal limit in Newcastle.

Police said the 28-year-old was involved in a crash with another vehicle on King Street, near Union Street, about 10.20pm on Sunday.
She returned a positive blood-alcohol reading and was arrested before she recorded a level of 0.232 at Newcastle Police Station.
Her licence was immediately suspended.
