The effort, high standards and attention to detail it took to rise to the top are also ingrained in her memory bank.
And with four teammates from that Manly team - Tara Andrews, Chloe O'Brien, Sunny Franco and Nicole Simonsen - now at the Jets, she is hoping to continue that winning feeling on the W-League stage.
After a bye in round one of a COVID-revised draw, the Jets open their season against Western Sydney at Wanderers Centre Of Football on Saturday.
"We had a great year at Manly and hopefully we can bring that winning feeling back here," Davis said. "Preparation was a big thing at Manly. Our coach put a lot of emphasis on the finer details and having that winning mentality. I know Chloe and Sunny definitely have that as players. At training you see their efforts to win a ball back when they lose it or to get forward. They have very high standards and push themselves to the limit. I think that is what Newcastle is. We always want to fight for each other and and have a good mentality."
Jets coach Ash Wilson said the established combinations were visible at training.
"A lot of the girls are quite familiar with each other after playing against each other in the NSW NPL," she said. "It has definitely made the transition easier."
Davis was expected to push forward into midfield this season. But with Hannah Brewer recovering from a knee injury, the co-captain is likely to marshal the defence.
"If it's centreback or midfield, I don't mind," Davis said. "I will just do my job for the team. We have a very strong team and a lot of people fighting for spots."
The Jets, who lost the final two games last season to collect the wooden spoon, have had a large turnover in personnel, especially in the centre of the park.
"I think it is good to bring in some fresh faces," said Davis who made who W-League debut in 2013 and has more than 60 appearances for the Jets. "They bring something different to the team."
Western Sydney are backing up after going down 3-0 to Sydney FC on Wednesday night.
The Jets have only played one trial game - a 1-0 win over Sydney - but Wilson has been happy with the preparation.
"It has been a good pre-season and I am liking what I am seeing," she said. "We will see how that translates when we get our first game under our belt.
"I can't fault any of the girls on their effort and application and how they are trying to execute the things we have asked them too.
"We had a positive result against Sydney, the training environment has been excellent ... all those little things, hopefully are going to lead to a positive outcome."
