Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, you will support the implementation of the strategic IT architecture and roadmap and deliver on premise and cloud-based capabilities You will need to provide technical support for Database and IT systems including liaising with external vendors, in particular MSPs and Core Banking System Vendors.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years of experience in database administration/support or similar role (MCSA certification preferred)
• Experience in the Banking, Finance Industry or other industry related experience
• Experience in application services support and working in a project environment using Agile methodologies
• Sound programming skills in T-SQL with solid understanding of best practices with a focus on performance tuning and optimisation
• Power shell scripting knowledge will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Universe database and associated query languages desirable
• ITIL knowledge experience or similar
• Strong database backup and recovery, query performance tuning, encryption & security experience
• Familiarity with programming languages API and cloud-based environments
