Manager Clinical Services (Psychologist)

This position is available due to growth with the organisation and will see you accountable for the clinical governance help this organisation to further develop their strategic objectives for service delivery. This outcome-focused provider pride themselves on their tailored support to clients, and need a Clinical Manager to drive and continue this important in their Clinical Client Service Delivery. You will be ensuring therapy is delivered in accordance with the relevant guidelines and supervise staff to help provide optimum delivery.

The role:

  • Supporting Provisional Psychologists & Behaviour Support Team Leader as well as their team through clinical management - mixture of face to face and virtual
  • Provide Clinical Supervision to Provisional Psychologists within the team
  • Work with an organisation that offers a wide range of personalised services including behavioural therapy, psychology and counselling services, support coordination and early childhood support
  • Lead projects which are designed to enhance quality of therapeutic services
  • Work with a variety of different, disciplines, level of staff to gain desired results
  • Be comfortable with feedback and able to deliver accordingly and appropriately
  • Managing a mixtured case load of work and manage time appropriately
  • Maintain your own case load to keep your knowledge and practice up to date and relevant to be able to guide others
  • Work towards budgets & ensure quality isn't compromised
  • Comfortable communicating with others including Critical Supports who you will be development improvement strategies closely with
  • Recruitment & retention of staff within this growing organisation

What you would need to be successful:

  • Passion for Clinical Governance & management of staff
  • Commitment and drive of continuous improvement
  • Support staff & work closely with the CEO & Ops Manager
  • Knowledge of the NDIS & APS to be able to advise on the correct actions for the different providers
  • Encourage & guide staff to meet their KPIS
  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) or equivalent.
  • AHPRA registrations & APS Registration
  • Clinical Supervisor Board Registration
  • Full Australian Drivers License
  • Willing & able to travel interstate
  • Working With children check
