Your new role
- Follow safe systems of work including adherence to JSA’s
- Hardware assembly using available resources such as engineering drawings, and assembly procedures
- assembly under instruction from Engineering staff, Production Supervisor
- Inspection and / or testing of PCB assemblies, hardware and components against specifications
- Verification of critical components dimensions by measuring
- Use of electrical test equipment to test final assembly performance to specification
- Accurate completion of Inspection and test documents to ensure critical quality data is recorded, evaluated and verified against specifications.
- Feedback any production or quality related issues to the Production Supervisor and / or Manufacturing Engineer
What you'll need to succeed
Experience
- 2-5 years experience in similar role
- Experience in electronics assembly and cable manufacture, inspection and testing
- Experience in Basic Equipment Maintenance in line with equipment manuals and procedures
Attributes/Behaviours
- Knowledge or ISO9000 quality systems
- Understanding of intrinsically safe or certified hazardous area electronics
- Understanding of product traceability records and requirements consistent with certified products
- Sound Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of safe systems of work
- Ability to use Power Tools
- Ability to work in a fast pace, high intensity environment
- Knowledge of Lean principles
