The Role:
Newly created opportunity for a Senior Financial Advisor to join our growing Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AIFA) team to support our growth ambitions.
The Senior Financial Advisor will develop investment project recommendations for existing and potential investments through developing complex unique quantitative models to analyse and forecast market developments, estimate risks, identify factors influencing investment decisions, and quantifying risks and rewards.
This role will report to the Head of AIFA ANZ and will have the opportunity to provide guidance to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in infrastructure project development / investment in the energy sector and deep knowledge of valuation methodologies, financing, risk allocation and the management of foreign exchange and interest rate risks in relation to investments, acquisitions and divestment. You have a solid understanding of project and corporate finance, equity and debt capital markets, deal structuring, M&A and valuation with experience in negotiating a wide range of financing contracts / agreements and advisory mandates.
The successful incumbent will be tertiary qualified in management, finance or applied economics.
CA or CFA qualifications will be well regarded.
