Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a mature, energetic and driven Warehouse Supervisor. This is a “hands on” role overseeing freight control of all goods in and out of the depot.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for controlling the daily depot functions of the company.

 Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are correctly managed
• Ensuring all allocated activities are correctly executed
• Loading/unloading containers of local and international removals
• Coordinating drivers/removalists
• Providing daily activity and productivity reports to management
• Ensuring accurate stock controls
• Safe forklift operation

 The successful applicant will have:

• Industry experience desirable
• Self-motivation
• An ability to think laterally and problem solve logistical conflicts
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• A bright disposition with a “can do” attitude
• Exceptional time management skills
• Forklift licence essential
• Experience in conventional and reach forklifts
