Lord Monckton was at his controversial best last night, addressing about 40 people at South Newcastle Leagues Club and dissecting what he called "exaggerated, recalculated and fraudulent" figures and graphs that had been spread by governments and the UN Climate Change Panel to deceive the world.
Lord Monckton broke down the 10 alleged fallacies of the global warming argument before challenging Al Gore to a debate.
It is Lord Monckton's third recent speaking tour of the Hunter - a region recognised as being at the forefront of the Australian climate change debate because of the dominance of carbon-producing industries here.
Lord Monckton told those present he believed global warming was a scam to keep the focus away from Agenda 21; a United Nations action plan which he says aims to depopulate the nation, impose a world government and usher in the return of Communism.
