This year's theme was Water Water Everywhere, Only If We Share, coinciding with the United Nations International Year of Water Co-operation.
The school-wide event featured performances and projects by the students.
"It's our one big day that we do something that everyone is involved in," Lambton High School sustainability co-ordinator Caroline Hayden said.
At the morning concert, music and drama students presented sustainable message performances they had worked on over the school term.
Students competed in a green-themed cupcake competition for a prize from the $500 worth of vouchers donated by local businesses.
The student representative council and prefects organised and operated the day's activities.
Money raised will go towards sustainable school grounds projects.
