Day on the Green has announced that its first concert for the coming summer season will also feature The Angels with Dave Gleeson, Baby Animals, James Reyne and Boom Crash Opera.
The Gurus are one of Australia’s most enduring rock bands known for hits such as I Want You Back, Bittersweet, What’s My Scene and 1000 Miles Away.
Newcastle-raised Dave Gleeson, pictured, has been singing with The Angels for a year after placing The Screaming Jets on hiatus.
Openers Boom Crash Opera will be fronted by charismatic Dale Ryder at the concert at Bimbadgen Winery on Saturday November 10.
The classic Australian rock show will be followed by Simple Minds and Devo at Bimbadgen on December 8.
