Nita said the photo was taken by the late Fred Gregory, some time in the 1960s. As far as I can make out, the building must have stood where the Life Church building is now.
Nita also supplied an advertisement from The Newcastle Morning Herald for the baths, which appeared in June 1884, offering admission for three shillings and sixpence
