They caught the train from Sydney right to their accommodation in the CBD.
They had a wonderful time, as we all did, attending the festival at the Jockey Club.
They can’t believe that the government is shutting down the train into our city.
Nor could the visitor from Canberra who attended the Our City Deserves Better rally in Civic Park on Saturday.
We showed him where the new university campus, for 4000 students, and the new law courts are being built – right at Civic station, which will close. He just shook his head in disbelief.
We’re shaking our heads too, but we’re not giving up yet.
