BOTTOM LINE: The Jets are one of two teams without a win after seven rounds. They have never gone eight games without victory in a season. It has been six games since the Mariners last won – a last-minute 1-0 triumph over the Jets in round one. Most of the Mariners’ problems have been in the front third. They have scored in just one of their past four games and have netted just four times this season, but they are unbeaten in their past six against the Jets. Neither side has scored more than two goals in the past 12 meetings at Hunter Stadium.
