LETTER: Remediation’s been abated

Let our community finally see some determination and true grit from our politicians and council.  Let them finally stand strongly on the side of this community.

This is no time for political grandstanding.  They all recommended the acceptance of this low-budget, inferior lead abatement strategy.

The community knew this was a poor deal.  Why didn’t the relevant authorities? 

The NSW government with the knowledge of the council and EPA secretly removed conditions binding the company on remediation of polluted land.
