WIN or lose, Shane Tritton’s powerful Keinbah stable is eyeing a big night out at Menangle.
Tritton’s double shot at Miracle Mile glory with Easy On The Eye and Suave Stuey Lombo is part of a 17-horse assault on the $1.15million, 10-race program on Saturday night.
As well as the group1 $750,000 Miracle Mile, six group2s, a group1 trotters event and two listed races will be held.
‘‘It’s a big night for us and the owners just to have runners in a meeting like this,’’ Tritton said.
‘‘We worked out that if all of them came last, which obviously can’t happen, that we would still win $45,000.
‘‘We would have to win 15 races at Newcastle to get that sort of money, so it’s a great day to be part of.’’
Also featuring on the marquee program will be Louth Park trainer Darren Elder, East Maitland’s Robin Hosking and Morisset trainer-driver Mark Callaghan.
Elder’s Shannonsablast will run in race one, and Hosking’s Major Frank and Callaghan’s Millwood Liberty have qualified for the group2 Beautide Championship Final.
