Wanted man found hiding in Mt Hutton House

About 10am detectives from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command went to several premises in the area in an attempt to locate a man wanted on eight arrest warrants.

While at premises on Warners Bay Road police located the 21-year-old hiding in an upstairs bedroom.

He was arrested and taken to Charlestown Police Station, where he was charged with the warrants relating to domestic violence, drug and property offences.

The man was refused bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court on Friday.
