Police say that about 10.30am a woman, 50, went out to serve a customer.
She had been cooking in Café Fibonacci’s kitchen.
Moments later the kitchen exploded, causing the wall to fall down and debris to scatter everywhere.
Firefighters, police, HAZMAT crews and paramedics attended the scene.
A pipe leaking natural gas was identified as the source of the explosion.
The woman, 50, was treated for shock at the scene, declining to be taken to hospital.
