The numbers have been crunched and it's official: Australian parents are having a bit of an 'O' moment. Olivia and Oliver were the most popular names given to girl and boy babies in the nation last year.

Both sat at number 3 on their respective lists last year, skipping up 2 spots to take the top spots.
There was a reshuffle in the boys' top 10, with William and Jack - last year's numbers 1 and 2 - slipping to second and third. Cooper and Lachlan slipped out from numbers 9 and 10 down to 16 and 11 respectively, making room for new top 10 entrants Alexander and Liam.
British royalty - especially the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis - seemed to have had an influence on Aussie mums and dads. George rocketed up 32 places to number 43, while Louis also had a strong increase, entering the top 100 at number 72.
The girls' list also saw a jumble of last year's top 10. Most notable was Ruby, jumping down from the second spot to number 9, and Grace, which made its way up two places from 12 to 10.
Old-fashioned names are definitely seeing a comeback for girls: Evelyn rose 31 places to hit number 32, while Elsie, Eleanor and Penelope all made their debut in the top 100.
