Unbeaten Adamstown host Mid North Coast on Saturday at Adamstown Oval in their first game in three weeks then back up at home against Merewether on Sunday. Rosebud have been playing on Adamstown No.2 this season but return to their main ground this weekend.
Merewether, who won last year’s grand final, lost 2-1 to Adamstown in round one and drew 0-0 last weekend at Wallsend. Both they and Adamstown are on 13 points, but Rosebud will lead by six if they win twice this weekend.
Elsewhere, Wallsend are coming off a 7-1 midweek win over Thornton heading into Sunday’s game against South Wallsend at Walker Fields, and Thornton host winless Mid North Coast.
Sunday’s games have been brought forward to 1.45pm to avoid a clash with the A-League grand final.
