UPDATE: A woman missing from her Budgewoi home since last night has been located.
Police had been searching for the woman today when she was found at a Budgewoi property this morning.
The woman appeared safe and well, police said.
“Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance,” a police spokesperson said.
EARLIER: Police are appealing for information about a woman who has been missing from her Budgewoi home since last night.
Rosemary Bowyer, 80, was reported missing from her home in Kewalo Avenue about 9.30pm on Wednesday night.
There are concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition and may appear confused.
Ms Bowyer is described as Caucasian, about 165 to 175cm tall, with grey hair.
She has a fair complexion, weighs between 70 and 75kg, and has brown eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a turquoise top and pink pants.
Anyone who may have seen her or knows of her current whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
Police are this morning scouring the streets of Budgewoi and Buff Point, looking for Ms Bowyer.
