FRONTLINE Yoga – the Hunter not-for-profit seeking to combat the epidemic of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among emergency response workers – is taking its cause across the state.
On January 21, the business spearheaded by Maitland yoga business owner Kate O’Donoghue will stage a “community, strength and resilience" campaign with free yoga and teacher training workshops in various locations. The Sydney event will kick off with a yoga class on the deck of decommissioned warship HMAS Vampire and serving and ex frontline personnel will discuss the benefits of yoga.
Yoga brand Lululemon has given Frontline Yoga grants to run workshops across NSW to aid its bid to train 100 new Frontline yoga teachers by Anzac Day.
