The tiny baby may have a big name but she's not likely to feel out of place in her family.
The eighth daughter and 11th child of Maryland couple Brinessa and Adam Martin, Diammond joins the likes of Brandi Shyla Molly Robyn, 4, and Indigo Raindrop Sapphire, 3.
After starting their family with names such as Samantha and Stephanie, the Martins said it had become increasingly tricky to find something original.
Mrs Martin said she had taken to browsing an iPhone application to find inspiration for baby names.
"Some people think I'm insane," Mrs Martin said. "Others are in awe."
Despite starting out wanting to have only three children, Mrs Martin has turned into a super-mum.
She rises at 5am to help feed, shower, clothe and pack lunch for five of her children before putting them on the bus for school.
The rest of the day is spent at home with the remainder of her children.
Apart from general child care, there's cleaning of the family's four-bedroom house and six loads of washing to do every day.
And grocery shopping. The Martins go through 24 loaves of bread and 30 litres of milk a week.
However, Mrs Martin is not without help. Husband Adam, an IT worker at Newcastle University, is on speed dial.
"If I need him, he comes," Mrs Martin said.
A trip to the shops is a major excursion for the Martins, who usually travel in a 14-seater bus.
Mrs Martin says Diammond Sparckle will be the last addition to the family.
