The Lego fan event will be held at the Newcastle racecourse on Sunday, raising money for local charities.
Organiser Kevin Evans said the Newcastle Brickfest had donated more than $25,000 over its first three years and was supporting 12 schools and charities this year.
He said this year’s event would be the biggest yet, with more than 50 exhibitors and 150 display tables.
There will be a 14m model of the city, complete with Koorangang Island bucket wheel excavators and the Pasha Bulker.
Brickfest is open from 9am to 5.30pm.
Entry is $5.
