The Newcastle defender will represent Australia at the Fast5 Netball World Series in Melbourne in late October after a strong season for the Giants in Super Netball.
Poolman attended a Diamonds camp in Canberra this year and has been called up again to help the team get ready for their game against the Roses. Clubmate Susan Pettitt, Melbourne Vixens’ Kate Moloney and Queensland’s Caitlyn Nevins will also join the camp.
“The four athletes will participate in all aspects of the camp, including performance analysis, court work and off-court activities,” coach Lisa Alexander said.
