The has been an air of tension around the twins after a recent feud played out on Twitter over the same sex marriage debate.
But there was no sign of tension between the sister duo on stage on Friday evening.
“The Veronicas get emotional performing On Your Side,” Kate Pattison posted on Twitter from the event.
Delta Goodrem and Cold Chisel are also expected to rock the Supercars stage over the weekend, as the inaugural Newcastle 500 – and finale for the 2017 Supercars series – gets underway in the city’s historic East End.
