PACIFIC Aria greeted the day in Newcastle harbour, bringing more than a thousand visitors to the city.
The cruise ship arrived before 9am and i scheduled to depart at 6pm today.
The nine-deck ship is the second cruise visitor of the year after Celebrity Solstice kicked off 2018’s season with a stop on January 3.
That ship will return in March and October, making it the most frequent visitor of the year according to the schedule so far.
A dozen ship stops are slated for 2018, including the three Celebrity Solstice visits and return voyages for both Norwegian Jewel and Radiance of the Seas.
