THE jury in the trial of Lifestyle Solutions founder David Hogg will resume deliberations on Friday morning.
Mr Hogg has pleaded not guilty to an historical sexual assault dating from 1988.
The jury began its decision-making on Tuesday afternoon.
Having sought clarification from Judge Antony Townsend on three occasions, it sat for a full day on Thursday without returning to the court room until the end of the day at 4pm.
The Crown alleges Mr Hogg, then a 35-year-old married Baptist minister, sexually assaulted a 16-year-old school girl who had been in his care for work experience.
Mr Hogg acknowledges going for a drive with the girl to “counsel” her on troubles she was having. He had been a school counsellor and she had been doing work experience with him but he denies ever touching her.
The jury is scheduled to reconvene at 10am on Friday.
