Hunter charitable organisations are being sought to submit expressions of interests for projects seeking funding from $30,000 up to $350,000.
Greater Charitable Foundation are looking for charities that are improving the life outcomes of families and communities in the Hunter.
The application period, which is open from 26 February to 12 March, seeks projects that align with the organisation’s set focal areas.
Groups hoping to become involved only have to submit an expression of interest by March 12, at which time a short-list of applicants will be established and then asked to submit formal proposals.
Hunter-based charitable organisations will have been provided with more than $4 million since 2011 after this year’s funding.
“Over the past seven years we have taken great pride in the work our amazing partners have undertaken in their respective communities, particularly here in the Hunter,” Greater Charitable Foundation chief executive officer Anne Long said.
“We have seen first-hand how providing funding to a dedicated and committed charity group can make a significant impact on the area of need in their community.
“In 2018 we are again looking to support charities that are working to improve life outcomes and deliver long-lasting change in our communities.”
Organisations looking to tender an expression of interest should visit the foundation’s website.
