The “high profile” Mac’s Home Hardware site at Warners Bay “lends itself to a wide range of options”, according to Knight Frank’s Michel Boom.
The property at 9 King Street is approximately 4540 square metres in size and has multiple buildings, including a showroom, warehouses and a large car park with a big frontage.
It is for sale by expressions of interest, closing March 28.
Mr Boom said possible options for the property were “as a development site or to be adaptively re-configured for retail/showroom use and a multitude of other uses, all of which would be subject to council approval”.
“The access from both directions, signage opportunities, 60 metres approximately of frontage and the B7 Business Park zoning are a definite bonus for those seeking a high-profile site in this area,” Mr Boom said.
He said the site with dual access off King Street offered significant exposure and was positioned to capitalise on a busy Warners Bay bulky goods precinct in close proximity to popular surrounding bulky goods precincts in Cardiff, Bennetts Green and Gateshead.
SHOWROOM IN BROADMEADOW
Knight Frank’s Brent Sinclair is marketing a newly refurbished office, showroom and warehouse with prominent exposure on Broadmeadow Road in Broadmeadow.
The property at 70-72 Broadmeadow Road comprises two attached premises. Number 72 is on a five-year lease back and the adjoining showroom at No.70 is a 562 square metre open showroom/warehouse with rear access and on-site parking.
Mr Sinclair said it was “an excellent opportunity for investors to secure a property with a potential income of $140,000 per annum” or “for an owner occupier to secure a quality showroom with rental income from the adjacent property”.
