HUNTER Medical Research Institute chairman and former NRMA boss Kyle Loades has joined the University of Newcastle’s Faculty of Business and Law part-time in a new position as Conjoint Professor of Practise.
Mr Loades will be acting in a professional capacity to provide insights into sector trends and also inform the student curriculum to ensure it meets industry requirements.
A University spokesperson said that due to Mr Loades’ current and previous experience as chair and leader of a number of nationally significant boards, the Hunter businessman and Auto Advantage founder “is extremely well networked with key industry and government decision makers” and will provide the Faculty with access to new opportunities not previously accessible.
