NIB foundation is encouraging local registered charities committed to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for youth and carers to apply for funding as part of its 2018 Community Grant round.
Applications are now open for the funding program, which aims to give up to 15 not-for-profit groups the opportunity to further the good work they do in their local communities.
The program grants are valued between $5000 and $50,000.

Nib foundation executive officer, Amy Tribe, said there was thousands of Aussie charities working hard to help people live healthier lives, but they often had limited resources to tackle complex social challenges such as poverty, inequity and disadvantage.
“That’s where our Community Grant program can help by providing a funding injection to bring new approaches and programs to fruition, or to support the ongoing delivery or expansion of existing successful initiatives,” she said.
Applications can be submitted online until April 30.
