A MAN has been charged after a car crash killed two men in Salamander Bay.

Queensland man Jamie Ward, 34, and Estonian national Lauri Juerman, 29, were killed on April 13 after the Mazda 3 slammed into a tree off Soldiers Point Road.
The tradies had been working on a major construction project in the area.
Two others in the car were taken to John Hunter Hospital with serious injuries.
Crash investigators have since charged the 31-year-old driver with numerous dangerous driving offences.
He was charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death, cause bodily harm by misconduct and negligent driving occasioning death.
Police expect further charges.
The Queensland man will front Raymond Terrace Local Court on June 4.
