A woman has been caught allegedly driving with a blood alcohol reading more than five times the legal limit, while two children were in the car.
Police charged the 33-year-old after she recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.283 on Tuesday night.
She had been stopped at a stationary random breath test set-up at Manning Street, Tuncurry.
A man and two six-year-old children were also in the vehicle at the time.
The 33-year-old’s licence was immediately suspended and police notified Family and Community Services.
