The sale of a property on a large landholding in Coronation Street, Warners Bay has set a new mark for the street.
Global Property’s Shaum Elms marketed 4 Coronation Street, which was secured by a local buyer upgrading in the market for $762,500.
The previous highest sale, according to Australian Property Monitors data, was $640,000 last year but Mr Elms said the uniqueness of the property was behind the record result.
“It was just under 8000 square metres of land, right at the end of a cul-de-sac,” Mr Elms said.
“It was a really private block with lots of trees and an R1 zoning, so it had potential for a second dwelling to be built.”
The home had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large entertaining area with an outdoor kitchen.
The median sale price for a home in Warners Bay last year was $612,500, according to APM data.
