
A man has died in a caravan fire near Port Stephens on Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called to property on Booral Road, Girvan, about 79kms north of Port Stephens, at around 7pm following reports a caravan was on fire.
Fire and Rescue extinguished the blaze; however, the body of a man was discovered inside. The man has not been formally identified.
Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District established a crime scene with the cause of the fire undetermined at this stage, however it is not believed to be suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
