
More than 130 vendors are expected at the next Olive Tree Markets at Civic Park in Newcastle on Saturday, August 4.
Among the expected vendors across food and artisan crafts are:
Sasa Street Food For those with a sweet tooth, look no further than the incredibly delicious Sicilian delicacies, freshly handmade by Sasa Street Food. They focus on producing Sicilian street food, Italian artisan bread and biscuits with a new world flair. Daneile Del Castillo is the master behind their delicious cannolis, made using traditional Italian recipes. Each cannoli is produced by hand and made freshly from scratch, from the shells to the fillings.
Papa’s Bagel Bar Every bagel is boiled and baked to a golden crisp daily, with a variety of unique fillings and classic spreads. They hand pick all of their fresh produce from the local Farmer’s Market.
Keiki & Hale Lauren and Lewis were inspired to started their small candle business, Keiki & Hale, after years of making candles at home for themselves and family and friends. This young brand stands out from the crowd, with a focus on being 100 per cent natural, toxic free and vegan friendly. All of their candles are made by hand, from coconut soy wax, combined with essential oils and high quality scents. By using coconut soy wax, their candles burn cleanly, hold their scent and last longer than other candles - with a creamy and smooth finish.
Oasis Found The creation of Sophia and Ben’s desire to share beautiful handmade, ethical products. Their ethos is to support global artisans, each piece in their collection tells the story of its origin and is designed in close collaboration with co-operatives and artisans from around the world. A strong focus on self expression, chic designs and personal details from the makers ensures that each piece is uniquely individual and one of a kind.
Music The sweet sounds of Megan Core, Damian Wright, Molly Millington, Lachlan X. Morris and Liliana Crane. The spotlight will be on Andy Nelson, and incredible musician from Central West NSW.
The markets, which are free to attend, operate from 9am to 3pm.
Parking is free at the Newcastle City Council Mall parking lot at 92 King Street.
