
A MAN will face court in Newcastle on Friday charged with multiple counts of break and enter and dishonestly obtain property by deception.
Newcastle police arrested an 18-year-old man about 9pm on Thursday after investigations into a number of reported break-ins and fraud offences in Wallsend between January and July this year.
The teenager was taken to Waratah police station and charged with break & enter house (x 3), destroy or damage property, take & drive conveyance without consent of owner, contravene prohibition/restriction apprehended violence order, and dishonestly obtain property by deception (x 2).
He was refused bail to face Newcastle Local Court.
