SUBURB SNAPSHOT
You are never far from the water in Bonnells Bay, a suburb nestled into a north-facing curve on the western shores of Lake Macquarie.
The quiet suburb is only five kilometres from the larger centre of Morisset. However, you can still find all the essentials at The Bay Shopping Centre, which includes the refurbished Bay Hotel Motel.
Across the road there is a skate park, basketball courts and playground and the Bonnells Bay Youth and Community Centre.

LIFESTYLE
Bonnells Bay residents enjoy the tranquility of the lake but it does not take much effort to get to pristine beaches, the Hunter Valley or even Sydney.
The Watagan Mountains and Watagans National Park are also close by.
There is a public school plus a train station at neighbouring Morisset and the freeway are easily accessible.
FROM THE EXPERTS
Bonnells Bay is often referred to by local residents as a family friendly, picturesque lakeside suburb.
The suburb offers a relaxed lifestyle with walkways, skate park, playgrounds, the Bay shopping village, easy foreshore access and direct boat access to the lake.
Bonnells Bay is at the doorstep of the Watagans national park, which offers great views, camping, trail bike riding and bushwalking.
