One of Bolwarra’s “marquee” properties has attracted interest from as far as Miami in the United States ahead of its action on site on Saturday.
James Rodrick, of Starr Partners, is marketing Anderton Cottage at 20 Paterson Road.
The home, which was built in the late 1800s and has been extensively renovated by its owners, is positioned on around 1700 square metres of land.
It features four bedrooms, original features, guest quarters and open plan living which extends to covered entertaining. It overlooks a heated inground pool and spa surrounded by a frameless glass fence and grey sandstone pavers.

“It’s in quite a niche little area in Bolwarra, which in itself is always well regarded,” Mr Rodrick said.
“It would be be one of the marquee properties of the area. There are certainly larger and more historical homes but I think the refinement of it makes it a stand-out property.”
There are Ironbark timber floors and Carrara marble in the kitchen and bathrooms, which also have underfloor heating.
“We’ve had phenomenal interest; it’s exceeded expectations,” Mr Rodrick said.
“Through the first three open homes we had around 100 groups and it’s a been a real mix.”
The auction is set for midday on site and the home has a price guide of $1.1 million to $1.2 million. There is an inspection scheduled for 11.30am.
