There’s not many places you can readily see inner-city hipsters enjoying music next to dusty farmers.
Therefore it’s fitting the Dashville mob are getting together to help the drought relief.
Make It Rain is a 40-track two-CD compilation album featuring songs from artists performing at this year’s Dashville Skyline, such as The Waifs, C.W. Stoneking, William Crighton, Melody Pool, Hat Fitz & Cara, The San Sebastian and The Bushwackers.
All funds raised will be donated to the Country Women’s Association, who are providing grants of up to $3000 to drought-affected families to help meet household expenses.
The album can be pre-ordered through the Dashville website or purchased at Skyline on September 28 to 30.
