
A photographer has been charged following investigations into historical indecent assaults in Lake Macquarie.
It is alleged a man indecently assaulted a then aged 17-year-old girl and a 21-year-old girl at a photography studio in the region between 2009 and 2012.
Detectives from Lake Macquarie Police District established Strike Force Geelan in October 2017, to investigate the alleged sexual offences by a professional photographer.
Following inquires, investigators attended a studio at Gateshead and arrested a 55-year-old man on Wednesday.
He was taken to Belmont Police Station and charged with two counts of incite person 16 years or over to commit act of indecency, and two counts of assault with act of indecency.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Belmont Local Court on Wednesday October 10.
Investigators continue with their inquiries into the matters.
