Hunter police continue investigation into death at Cessnock property

The man was hit by a four-wheel-drive at the Edith Street property about 11pm on Tuesday.

Police interviewed a man and woman, known to the 36-year-old, on Wednesday but released them without charge pending further inquiries.

Detectives had not pressed charges over the man’s death as of Thursday afternoon.
