It has been another busy week at the Herald.
Getting ourselves – and our readers – prepared for the digital subscription era has been a challenge for all of us here, particularly this past month as the launch date sped closer.
With change, there’s always some trepidation … but excitement too.
And so while there has been some disgruntled voices out there, the response we’ve had from our subscribers has been wonderful. It means a lot to all of us here that you are invested and interested in the important work we do.
As part of our preparations for the arrival of the subscriptions, we’ve had to do some things that we rarely do – talk about ourselves and talk about the work we do.
We've filmed these sessions in a bid to help the community understand a bit more about what we’re all about.
We’ve also been lucky enough to have some well-known members of this community get involved to talk about what the Herald means to them. I can’t thank them enough for their kind words.
