Lucky escape for man after four metre fall at Liddell Power Station
A man appears to have escaped serious injury after he fell about four metres at Liddell Power Station on Tuesday.
Paramedics and the Westpac rescue helicopter were called to the Muswellbrook facility about 12.40pm after a report that a man had fallen several metres into a boiler, which was not operational at the time.
An Ambulance NSW spokesman told the Newcastle Herald the 50-year-old appeared to be experiencing dizziness after the fall and appeared to have avoided serious injury.
It was unclear at the time of publication whether the man would be taken to hospital.
