BEACH WATCH

Better waves will be during the morning’s incoming tide with some cleaner conditions. Another southerly change due late morning and stronger winds for the afternoon. Swell from the S/E at 1 to 1.5m. Wind light and variable tending South to S/E. The banks have improved at most beaches and the inner reef on the full tide are also okay. First up check The Alley, South Bar and Pogos. Merewether and Cowrie mid morning. Burwood, Redhead and Moonie to the south. One Mile and Birubi up at Port Stephens. Waters clean and clear in with slight sweeps in southern corners.
