
Simon Wall, of McGrath Newcastle City, has recorded what he believes is a record sale for a duplex in Adamstown.
He sold the home of George and Tina Walker at 55A Lockyer Street for $960,000.
The Torrens title, four-bedroom home was built in 2011 and had an award-winning alfresco area with a jacuzzi.
RESERVE AT REAR
Size and location, backing onto bush reserve in Adamstown Heights, are expected to prove the key appeal of 18 Kempwood Close which has been listed for sale for the first time in nearly 20 years.

BELLA VISTA PRICES
The pricing list has been released for development Park Bella Vista at Mayfield.
It will comprise 12 freestanding strata-title homes, each overlooking the grounds and gardens of iconic Bella Vista.
Darren Penn, of Ray White, is marketing the homes from $990,000 to $1.2 million.

STRONG INTEREST AHEAD OF LAUNCH
There have been over 150 inspections of an absolute waterfront development with its own private jetty at Toronto ahead of its launch today.
Development Application has been approved for The Foreshore Lake Macquarie, a 37-apartment complex at 1 Wharf Road.
It will comprise a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments over four levels and is being jointly marketed by Raine & Horne’s Jason Maxwell and Paul Avery, of Avery Property Professionals.
“Interest has been nice and solid,” Mr Maxwell said.
“The feedback has been really positive and we’ve had a lot of comments on the quality and the size of the apartments. Most people see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy in a waterfront location on the lake.”

SALE FOR CHARITY
A Nelson Bay couple bought a house donated to the Children’s Cancer Institute in Medowie’s Bower Estate for $650,000 at auction last Sunday.
The Build for a Cure home was donated by McDonald Jones Homes and built by volunteer tradespeople in 21 days on land donated by McCloy Group.
The proceeds from the auction will go towards research into a finding a cure for childhood cancer.
