The official announcement was made on Tuesday morning after Simon, who already has seven Test caps, joined the Australian women’s team in camp in Sydney on Monday.
Crummer has represented her country on 23 occasions.
The Matildas take on Chile in a two-match series, starting in Penrith on Saturday and finishing in Newcastle next Tuesday (November 13).
Jets marquee Emily van Egmond, who has 16 goals from 80 international appearances, remains in national colours.
Simon, Crummer and van Egmond all played in the Jets’ W-League season opener on Thursday, a 2-1 loss to Melbourne Victory at Lakeside Stadium.
The Jets are due to host Canberra at No.2 Sportsground on Saturday week (November 17).
